Vapor Nine ditches the bland design that most magnetic flap boxes adhere to, and has a slick presentation that you might thing was reserved for high end electronics. Actually, the Nebula is a pretty high end piece of electonics after all, so it fits accordingly. Their easy to follow user guide is tucked into a sleeve on the inside of the lid, so its staring you down as soon as you open the kit. Very solid, and very pleasing design here.
The Nebula battery is as responsive as any that I’ve used. Though they only offer the longer batteries, it’s no gripe since they perform as well as they do. Both black batteries with blue tips and white batteries with orange tips are offered depending on your preference. They work exactly the same, so it’s just a matter of personal preference here. I don’t fully understand the branding though, as it’s labeled “Clear Vapor” rather than the brand name or unit name. That’s totally negligable though, because for the price of this unit it comes with one of the top batteries I’ve had the chance to use.
A few different flavor options exist beyond the typical tobacco and menthol flavors. The Nebula also offers blueberry, cappucino, and peppermint. The flavor of their vapor is on par with the best, with their menthol being crisper than most. The “turbo” cartomizers produce a great amount of vapor, and also come with rubber stoppers so that you can refill them yourself. Not that I’d recommend that, because a fresh atomizer every time is the way to go for reliability.
Overall (Not An Average) 5/5
Vapor Nine has a real diamond in the rough on their hands with the Nebula. It’s not as prominent in advertising, but they more than make up for it with the performance, taste, vapor, and especially price point. The Nebula is an absolutely great kit for the first timer because of this, and also a good addition to any e-cig users collection. I can easily say that this hidden gem is one of the best on the market.
