My 7’s Review
My personal impression of the My 7’s packaging is that it’s trying too hard to look nicer than it is. Like a knock off Coach bag, it appears to be pretty nice until you really dive in and start noticing details. The box that the kit comes in is way too large and bulky for a standard 510 ecig with 2 batteries. The refill cartomizers are stored 2×2 in plastic tubes, and it just seems to be a lot of wasted space. A positive in terms of presentation is in the inclusion here of a nice-looking PCC that works well and features a removable battery.
The life of this battery may be its saving grace, as it certainly lasts all day. That’s usually to be expected with a larger style battery such as this though. I wasn’t sure if it was an issue with airflow in the connection but occasionally I had to drag harder than I would’ve liked to. Though the power it gave to the cartomizer was more than enough to get it going right away.
The amount of vapor produced by this kit was less than spectacular, but still enough. Although there are many comparably priced and designed products on the market that may outperform. I wasn’t overly impressed with the flavor itself either, as it was a little artificial and a little weak. The menthol didn’t have the typical cooling sensation one would be used to, the throat hit is on the mild side here as well.
Overall 3.5/5 (Not An Average)
I feel that if a little more time and money was put into product quality over trying to have a flashy exterior that there is promise to be had. Sometimes a flashy box is all it takes to sell a product if it’s on a store shelf somewhere, but it’s truly what’s inside that counts. Perhaps my expectations were too high based upon the appearance and that’s why it felt like a bit of a letdown. Regardless, it carries a moderate price tag, functions well enough and has a nice PCC, so it’s still a decent investment for the beginner.
