What Is Electronic Cigarette Juice?
Electronic cigarette juice or better known as E-Liquid, is a solution of 4 ingredients vaporized in electronic cigarettes. The solution is also known by other names, like e-juice, e-liquid and liquid. The ‘E’ in front refers to an electronic cigarette.
The 4 ingrediants in electronic cigarette juice is Propylene Glycol, Vegetable Glycerin, Nicotine and Flavors. Though we can’t say that these ingredients are safe to use, we however can say that they are less harmful than that compared to the 4,000 chemicals found in a tobacco cigarette. They are also all food grade ingredients.
The nicotine strength in electronic cigarettes can be selected at purchase. The strengths (milligrams) range from 0mg, being no nicotine, all the way to 24mg being its highest strength. Some electronic cigarette users use “no-nic” as a way to wean themselves from the actual act of smoking. However, others seek to continually use nicotine because an electronic cigarettes still gives them the smoking cessation, but without the same 4,000 chemicals found in a tobacco cigarette.
Electronic cigarette juice has many flavors and in fact, that is what draws many to successfully use electronic cigarettes and avoid going back to smoking. There are many flavors of juice, like tobacco, fruit, candy and beverage flavors.
The way this all works is, the electronic cigarette juice is dripped or poured into the mouthpiece of the e-cigarette. It then seeps onto a wicking system inside the atomizer, cartomizer or cartridge (whichever is being used). The wicking system is wrapped by a coil or heating element. Once the coil is powered, it heats up and turns the electronic cigarette juice into a vapor.
