My 7’s Kit Review
My 7’s Cartomizer Starter Kit Review
The two piece No. 7 Cartomizer Starter Kit sports the look of a classic cigarette having the white battery with a red lit tip and cartomizer. It comes with a palette of flavors encased in tubes within a handsome decorative box that range from decadent fruits to classic tobacco. Flavors are designated by color and designed to look like the real thing with the brushed print emulating a real filter. The look is rather classy like that of a cigar box and you can purchase a portable case (either separate or within a kit) similar to a real pack. I personally think it’s a little too classic and conservative of a look but overall the aesthetics are nice.
The battery life of the No. 7 is excellent. After a marathon of drags this battery withstood the test of time; an hour long charge lasted from sun up to sun down. The battery was responsive as well and gave vapor right away. The drag was smooth and easy however there was a moment or two where it felt as though you were trying to suck an olive through a straw. Luckily that sensation could quickly be remedied after another toke or a new cartomizer. Vapor production was excellent and it delivered a nice throat hit.
Flavors come in strawberry, blueberry, green apple, vanilla, chocolate, menthol and classic tobacco. As far as the fruit flavors go, they taste as any artificial fruit flavor would much like a jolly rancher. The strawberry and blueberry weren’t too subtle-they really stood out. The green apple tasted like you were inhaling a granny smith. . The vanilla and the chocolate weren’t quite the same but left little to be desired in terms of flavor. The tobacco was pretty good too. The menthol couldn’t go wrong though; cool and refreshing as it always is. Menthol to me has always been more of a sensation than a flavor any way.
Overall 4/5 (Not An Average)
Regardless of what your taste is there is bound to be a flavor to enjoy from the variety it offers. The throat hit is very satisfactory and the performance is top notch. The cartomizers seem to last a while as I’ve been dragging on one all day with a sustainable vapor and flavor. Depending on what kind of kit you get it could be fairly inexpensive; A good ecig overall.
