So this morning I saw a salw running on 801 Fusions on VaporJoe's. I was about to go buy them, but HoosierVapes, who is running the sale doesn't have adapters. So I was browsing around a bit and ended up at IkenVape. Where I saw that They are now selling a 510 Fusion Carto:

I understand Ikenvape designed the 801 fusion, so I can only assume these 510s are going to perform as well.

I'm thinking about picking up a pack of each to give them a spin.

To my knowledge ikenvape was the first company to have the Fusion cartos. People seem to prefer them over standard boge's. I think the 801 connection improves airflow somehow which in turn creates a better vape.

I just loaded up my first 510 fusion 3.0 ohm punch! this afternoon, with a tank full of SubZero.

Typically, I'd used SmokTek carto's for the 510's and V4L carto's (which i think is made by SmokTek) for the 808's.

Compared to the Smok's, the Ikenvape carto is a little airy, but not to the point of uncomfortable. Makes for a tremendous about of vapor.

I've also noticed that the feed holes in the Ikenvape seems to be bigger. I was a little worried that I would have flooding issues, as I tend to favor a higher PG concentration (thus a thinner juice), but I think it may not be drawing in enough. I just had to top off the top (before I got done with this post, I had to revert back to the plug & dry hit method. Carto pumped out a ton of bubbles, as if it hadn't been primed at all! I'd guess it took in almost .5ml)

The poly fill in the Ikenvape's seems to be more dense than I'm used to. I noticed when I was priming it, that it took a bit longer for the juice to soak in.

The biggest thing I notice during use, is how much better the flavor is. Very clean, almost as good as dripped on an atty.

As far as longevity, it's way too early to tell. I'll post again once the Ikenvape makes its last vape :)

I'm gonna have to try these out. I tried the Boge 801's which some say are the same as Ikenvape. I like the 801, but not enough to deal with the adapter and gap.

Just a quick update:

So far, flavor and vapor production remain superb! No change in draw whatsoever!

It's been a real challenge to get this thing to stay primed though. Did the 'ole "plug & pull" about 4x, and have intentionally "super-flooded" it twice. I think it's finally starting to wick properly, as its been hitting like a champ for over an hour.

I'm hesitant to declare this carto a dud, because the performance is so good, and nary a sign of leakage.

Regardless, the next time I load one, its going to be an aggressive "taryn spin", followed up with some needle poking to the batting in the inlet holes.

Day 3 of this carto...

I've put almost 15ml's of SubZero through this thing, and it still hits like it was new!

I continued to have priming issues into the second day, but solved those by poking at the batting through the wick holes with a sewing needle. It's been perfect ever since!

Bravo Ikenvape!

I really enjoy the flavor and vapor production from the IkenVape 801's in my Tuxedo Tank and MrsC likes to use an 801's on her GLV Super Mini. Thanks for the info guys, I'm gonna give the 510 Fusions a try.

The tight batting is something I see quite a bit on Boge cartos. Then at times I get one that wicks like a sponge, hopefully the ikenvape ones have a bit more consistency

I want to give a quick update on these...

After 7 days on this carto (and 25ml's of Halo SubZero), this thing still hits like its brand new!

I even intentionally filled the tank before flying back from a business trip two days ago, to see how it would hold up to pressure changes (it leaked but that's physics), and after clearing the flood it's still going strong!

That first carto just quit on me today!

First time I've EVER gotten 13 days out of any Cartomizer (V4L Smileomizer not withstanding...those things are wicked awesome too!). The only sign of failure (before the actual fail), was a little bit of gurgle and a tight draw last night, for just a few pulls.

Everything was fine until the all too familiar burnt taste arrived today.

Right up unto the point of death, the thing hit like a champ!

I highly recommend the IkenVape 510 Mega Fusion 3.0ohm Punch carto's for your tanks :)
