I got some bottle of Halo in from that clearance sale I posted this last week. I got Prime 15 and Torque 56. Do they need to steep any? I have never had Halo before. Don't know how fresh it is since it's not directly from Halo and it was clearance.

Depending on the temperature id let em sit for a little bit. Something about the cold that throws liquids off for a bit.
Thats just my experience though.

I've only gotten Halo indirectly too, via VapeTeam. My bottles have a marking that says 'Best By: 10/5/2013' I assume that's maybe 1 year after the day it was blended. I also got a business card that says the following:

The taste of you Halo e-liquid will change considerably over the first 24-48 hours after being opened.

When Halo e-liquid is kept too cold, the flavor can be diminished and even taste flavorless. As your e-liquid adjusts back to room temperature, the flavor will increase dramatically. Please do not refrigerate.

There's also a thermometer on the card that shows an arrow around 70F (Roughly US Room temperature) I assume that's like a suggestion for the best flavor.

I'd just taste it, chances are it's ready to go. Halo seems like a real class act, I almost assume they won't ship their liquid until they've given it what they deem is adequete steep time.
Sent using zeros and ones.

imo all of steeping is due to personal taste, i try ALL of my juices out of the mailer and if they are yummy then, i vape them, some juices need to be steeped. i have had juices loose flavor when steeped...
Also, if juices taste awful now to me chances are they are not going to be wonderful after a week.....

That made sense in my head..

Most juice flavors will begin to change once exposed to air...this is a part of 'steeping" that is often overlooked. And so far, I have never had a juice that didn't become better with a little steeping. Open the bottle, let it sit with the cap (and the dropper thing) off for awhile. Put it all back together, shake and let sit, Repeat for a couple days or more.

I have a review of a couple juices to do this weekend that the vendor will be SO happy that I allowed to steep....

You could try them if you want and then steep if you are lovin them yet. Slap gives some good advice on Steeping. As Mongrel said, Halo bottles have a date, about one year from date of mixing, on the back so you can tell how about how old they are.
