My First Week With an E-Cigarette

My journey with Electronic Cigarettes begun around Thanksgiving of last year when I picked up a Progresscig disposable at my local gas station on a whim.  I knew that I was going to be spending a lot of time with my family, all of which are non-smokers accept for myself, and I did not want to stink of cigarettes around them.

The experience was mostly good, and left me with a desire to try some more.  Over the next few months I experimented with different disposables that I found around town and found a vast difference in both lifespan, quality and taste.  The biggest positive was that the disposables got me interested in finding out more about electronic cigarettes.

Fast forward to 12 days ago (though it seems like a week) when my eGo Kit arrived.  It took only three days of playing with my new device before I managed to go a day without a normal cigarette.

My first kit contained 900mah eGo batteries, 2 CE5 Clearomizers, a battery charger, and I added on a Vivi Nova Mini.

I have to admit that after my initial toying with and learning how everything worked I got a bit excited.  I got a variable voltage ego and a few more clearomizers along with a wide variety of juice.  I may have gone a bit overboard but I just had to check out everything I could get my hands on!

I have finally found something that combines tinkering with gadgets, and mixes it with interesting flavors all while helping me from lighting up a normal cigarette.

I have already learned quite a few things, and realized a few mistakes that I made while adopting electronic cigarettes.

Mostly though, I want to say a big THANK YOU to the electronic cigarette community for providing such a wealth of information and how supportive everyone I have met online while learning about electronic cigarettes.

    Thanks for sharing and good job getting off the cigs! Hopefully I can do the same here soon, my husband is a vaper now. It’s just so hard to think of giving up my cigs!! I just know I have to, and I’m hoping this site keeps me engaged in thinking and maybe getting my own kit.
