So, I have seen plenty of vendors selling these for about $4 each, and have wondered why do people need these? Is it just our urge to buy things or is it really useful?

Fast Forward a month or 2, and I am in dollar tree vaping my 1000 mah battery with a mini Vivi on top, and it dawns on me why these things are for sale!

So, being as frugal as I am, I ask one of the clerks if they have lanyards and lucky me they had JUST got them on the truck, but had not had a chance to put them on the shelves yet. So he brings them out I pick one out, then I wonder, how the hell is this going to work…..

So I look around and find the eyeglasses chains, and it dawns on me!

If you are using the same set up as me you can unscrew the Vivi put a small hair tie (or another elastic, or whatever suits your fancy) onto the battery, mind you have that tie attached to the lanyard via the clip or whatever comes with it, then screw the Vivi back on.

I wouldn’t really say this is  great idea for bigger batteries, but for us cheap people it works out pretty good.

Plus if ECA would put some in their store I would not complain!

i think the ones for ecigs have metal rings on them that slide on your battery just below the thread sleeve under the ato/carto mizer

    i may be wrong

I’ve avoided using a lanyard, mostly because there are times at work where having something dangling from my neck is a very bad idea.

But I also didn’t get the point of drip tips at first. I’m now somewhat obsessed with drip tips, and pretty much think I’ll always be picking them up with each order.

So who knows, I can see times a lanyard would be nice, but I might just hack something together like you describe here.

Interesting, but you know they do actually make lanyards specifically for them right? Lol. Nifty though. I’ve thought about using one but i dont use my ego devices nearly as much anymore. with the exception of my twist, which is slowly being phased out as well.

We are looking for lanyards for our ego twists…Holding out for the possibility of a swag item in the vff with ecig advanced on it:) would be nice :)

I thought lanyards were silly until I found myself habitually dropping my eGo. Now I want one, but I don’t want to wear it. Maybe a retractable leash hooked to my belt loop.

I would love to see some ECA branded lanyards not for my eVic is a little big but for my keys to show some support for the site.

    on another note…
i think that i busted a twist by dropping it too many times, so when i am out an abouti use my lanyard, might look strange to others, but I am past giving a dang!
