Kiosk Vaping

as most of us may know, the kiosks at the mall expose many people to vaping, BUT they are overpriced and taste icky!

some of this may be a rant.

If you are new to ECA or vaping, PLEASE do NOT buy an ecig kit from the mall!!! They cost too much, and you will more than likely NOT be satisfied and will resume smoking.

Another thing, is at these kiosks, they have no idea what they are doing, they say their juice is the best, American made… I tried a toot, and let me tell you folks, I could taste the Chinesse swap-butt!

You never see the counter person blowing out plumes, and to me, it looks like they are constantly nervously vaping….

So this got me to thinking.

I love vaping

I love helping other people

Oh, and I love making money :)

So, why not open a REAL kiosk in the mall that sells ego kits with cartos and have some solid juice, granted it would cost a bit more than on the internet, mall prices ya know, but there are people that do not have internet, and others that need to be directly exposed to it and have their hand held.

So, my question, is what would you want to see in a mall that wouldn’t piss you off, and that would be attractive to smokers?

It would be great if people in the malls, especially someone those who no idea what is really available, had access to the same stuff we, in the vaping community, do

I understand that most malls charge rip-off rent, but that’s no justification for selling cheesy crap you wouldn’t see any right-minded internet ecig vendor giving away — and for way more than top dollar.

I’ve seen wholesale prices for eGo twists and such…someone who really wanted to build a loyal client-base and not just gouge a few unsuspecting people could make a really great living selling the right stuff. Good post!

I’d like to see at LEAST salesperson’s that know a little about vaping. Some of the sales tactics are laughable. At my local mall, they are way to aggressive, shoving their ecig at everyone that passes by. If they had decent equipment, simply blowing plumes would make smokers curious. They tried to tell me their ecig was better than my ProVari. I just said ok.

If you have the time and money go or it. I beleave it would work in the rite place.

I think it would be best to stock a Kiosk with Ego Style Batteries, if they are knock offs you would need to do research to make sure they weren’t gonna die on people in a week or so. Cartomizers, EVODs and some good juice. You would probably need to sell pre-filled Cartos to start people out as a lot of people are scared to fill their own Cartos or Clearos in the beginning. Maybe you could include a tutorial DVD with each kit teaching people how to charge, fill and how to tell if you are at the right Nic level. If you plan to have returning customers I think you would need to offer VV too. Giving people ECA info, YouTube info and links to CASAA may cause customers to find other Vendors and APVs and may keep customers from coming back but it would be the right thing to do to make their success more likely.

Minis and pre-filled cartos will probably always have a place for people who just want to try something out. But I’d say a good place would have egos, twists, vamos and clearos, carto tanks, and most important GOOD JUICE!

  22. Flux83 on March 9th, 2013 1:31 am

Yeah we had one here it sucked and was very very expensive like $130 for two small batteries.

  23. MrsB3 on March 10th, 2013 2:20 am

Ripping people off, selling a bad product, and turning people away from ecigs, they might as well just sell regular cigarettes.

  24. tiffjamesnjj on March 10th, 2013 3:20 am

agreed with selling real cigs… lol

You’re do right about the mall crap!! I’d like to see a small kiosk selling a small variety of items. It wouldn’t need many juices, just a few good tobaccos, a few good menthols and just a few sweet or fruity flavors.. Maybe 2 or 3 cig-a-like starter kits ranging from $15-$75 so no matter what the budget, anyone can at least get their feet wet into vaping. And then for the intermediate group, a few egos, a mod or 2 and a small variety of attys clearos and cartos.. That would be huge!! Even a semi experienced vaper could make a killing with just basic knowledge and good ppl skills..

  28. brock on March 12th, 2013 1:33 am

    good luck

  29. Flux83 on March 12th, 2013 1:40 am

The one good thing that these cart or the Blu’s is they do bring no vapers looking for a better vape.

  30. Sonar505 on March 13th, 2013 3:50 am

I feel pretty lucky that I have never experienced a mall kiosk. Even before I started vaping.

  31. LOVE2VAPE on March 17th, 2013 4:52 am

I want to see an AVE juice kiosk in the mall, being freshly made right there in front of me. Love that fresh stuff.

  32. bybees3 on March 18th, 2013 9:08 pm

Next time I’m in a mall, I want to go up to one of these and act all ignorant about stuff. After they give me their ‘pitch’, I’ll pull out the Vamo with some big beefy tank on it and ask it their stuff is better that mine…hee-hee
