This is my tutorial on what I did with my Blu cartridges. Now I bought these packs of cartridges about nine months ago and just did not enjoy the flavor. The Classic Tobacco is eh, OK at best, the Java Jolt was BAD. I mean burnt coffee BAD. So since I am trying to convert as many of my smoker friends as possible I thought I could use the battery and cartos that I still have with out spending any more money and not a big deal if they are lost. So here is the ten steps I took to clean out the cartomizers.

Step 1 Remove the small flat plastic cap.

Step 2 Boil the cartos in water for 15 min then drain(repeat 4 times or more)

Step 3 When the water has no hint of fluid you can remove them rinse with cold water.

Step 4 Drain, place upside down to remove excess water.

Step 5 Use a small bit of paper towel rolled up to suck out any water.

Step 6 Place it a ventilated area. For me I placed over a computer fan.

Step 7 Let sit for a least two hours then replace the towel. Repeat as needed.

Step 8 Fill it up with juice slowly using a syringe with a very small needle.

Step 9 After the inside is good and wet return the cap to it.

Step 9.5 (optional) Make your own waterproof sticker for it to tell you what flavor is in it.

Step 10 Enjoy

Thanks to all who helped me with this on the ECA forums and PB (yes that is his name now).

Thanks a ton for this information. It is great knowledge to have for those wanting to spend money or make the blu experience better with their own juice.

Nice blog Flux. One of the people who my husband and I passed our Blu Kits on to back in 2011 cleaned and re-used the Cartos for nearly 3 months.

I know a few people with Blu cigarettes. I’ll have to refer them to this blog. I like the trick to set the carto over a computer fan to help ventilate. Good stuff. :)
