Foreplay should start with an honest KISS
While I understand that there are different strokes for different folks and the fetish isle is filled with –well let’s not go there, but we should all blush at the thought…there are a few things that should always be taken into consideration [if your momma taught you any manners at all] and that is that one should wash their hands and put up their hats, prior to setting the kitchen table and grabbing a seat.
Just like washing your hands prior to dinner, there are a few preliminaries that we must take into consideration before going into business and if you already have your own business, these are good things to go over. WTF!??!?! You didn’t start with foreplay? You just dived right in and got to your business? Well, ok then….I’ll give you your kudos for being the most awesome minute-man-o-business and put you in the front row of foreplay 101.
Materials needed: pen, paper and total honesty.
The RULES: KISS [keep it simple stupid]
There are no right or wrong answers here, when you are honest.
It’s OK to make mistakes, if you are willing to learn from them.
It’s OK to change your mind and try other things.
It’s never too late for anything in this world [as long as you don’t hurt people].
Now, take a few moments and really think about why you want to have your own business.
***Are you a hobbyist that wants to make a little extra side money? Do you have some kick butt juices and you think you are just as good as those other guys? Are you concerned about the legal state of supply and want to help make a difference? Do you have a dream of owning a business and this is one area you are passionate about? Are you hoping to get rich, quick?
***what are you business goals? Where do you hope to be in 3 mos? 6 mos? 1 year? 5 years? 10 years? Do you want to do an online business? Brick and mortar? Both? Do you want to see your product in other people’s stores? Are you passionate about these goals?
***how much time do you expect to spend on this venture? Are you passionate about your time with this business?
**what’s your starting capital and do you have the funds to pay your bills without touching this business? How are you going to eat—without touching incoming funds? Can you eat on passion?
**what are your skills that you can add to this business? [do you have basic accounting, website building, graphic arts, muscle power experience?]
**who do you know that has some of the skills that you think your business can benefit from that you don’t have?
Obviously, you’ve come to realize that I firmly believe that nothing happens well without passion. Business isn’t any difference—you want to make a dream happen and soar towards your goals. Sure, you don’t have to have passion to kiss…..I’m sure most people can relate to having kissed a cold fish at some point in our lives [except for me---all my kisses have been hawt! Lol yeah….right….]
Ok, so hang up your hats [no, don’t put it on the bed] , wash your hands and then sit down at the kitchen table and let’s start KISSing. This relationship doesn’t have to be complicated—I’m not into that—but it does need to be honest and passionate. Keep It Simple Stupid and start with some good ole-fashioned self-assessment. You want to keep these notes and bring them with you the next time you are sitting at the kitchen table.
Vape mail is happy mail—did it come from you?

Passion should be what drives people Not always money
Indeed. If a business is just a means to avoid working for “the man,” don’t bother. You gotta wanna eat, drink and dream that stuff!
Good information, thanks.
I agree fully…
thanks guys–i know that a lot of this is basic elementary kinda stuff, but often when we get into daily stuff—we forget the basics. –i firmly believe that if we start with passion, then we can build dreams with skills and talent
Excellent points that apply to any business in general. I think passion is the most important thing, both for success and happiness. Very often people who are passionate dive into things a bit too quickly without really thinking about what they’re doing. At times they succeed, but they also risk having a hobby they love become a job they can’t stand.
Excellent info, thank you.
appreciate the feed back guys—i had really been thinking that i’d gone over board with the foreplay commentaries…..o.0
or maybe, i was just being too boring lol—such a fine line is this tight rope we balance upon.
Well said !!!!
Passion is a must….getting rich quick , well …I have seen that before….Did not end well for those involved …:)
Well said, and I enjoy the slight humor of it
I would love to start a business, but I’d find it hard not to lose money.
Very informative
Yeah I enjoyed the slight humor as well
I agree %100 and wish that more vendors would turn to this type of attitude before opening up. There are a few vendors in this area that are almost complete retards and just jumped into it to make money. And I feel that they hurt the community more than help it. I’ve considered opening up shop, but due to the wrong answers for some of these questions, I just can’t do it. I have the passion and knowledge… but I can’t take the chance as I have a family to support and times are rough right now. So that also takes away the time I would need to take to make it successful. Maybe when we’re older and I have more time and less people relying on my immediate income…
Daytona Beach needs a good supplier that is open 5-6 days a week!
yayz! you guys don’t realize that feedback on the blogs really help keep me motivated towards finding the time to write them lol—thanks bunches!
and Shub, the thing is—there aren’t any wrong answers to the above questions [other than the get rich quick one lol]—but hang around and keep whittling away at your thoughts of possibly owning a shop—you will be surprised at what is possible to be turned into a reality. —i’m going to touch basis on some “shoestring’ budget ideas, too.
yeah buddy
thank
Lol
Lol, Thats funny
it’s sad when you see companies that are just in it for the $$..
passion is where it’s at, you can taste it in the juice!
Great blog! Not sure how I missed this.
Thanks! I need to get out another post and jump in the forum—major stuffs been happening.
