Disposables…Good or Bad?
Some people think that the E cigarettes purchased at the smoke shop are not of any use and just a waste of money. In my opinion there is one thing good about the disposables, and also one bad thing. When I first started smoking Electronic cigarettes, they were the disposable ones. I didn’t know that there were e-cigs 1000 times better out there, but I learned from experience. The good thing about the disposables is that you can keep buying different brands, as I did, and eventually find one with a flavor that you absolutely need. I kept going through disposables until I came across the Vapage Barfly blue frost disposable. That was the flavor for me, so I go on their website, and find out that they sell blue frost e-juice. That is when I started learning more about Electronic cigarettes. The bad side is that the disposables do not last long, and usually do not taste very good. So when a person wants to switch from analogs, and give an e-cig a try, they buy an overly priced disposable e-cig from the gas station. It says it lasts up to 500 puffs, but it lasts them only 30 minutes of hardly using it. This is the bad reason about disposables. The person who just bought that expensive e-cig might think that all of them are like that, and never again even think about an electronic cigarette. They go back to analogs, which we all know is no good. So what do you think? Are disposable E-Cigs at smoke shops and gas stations a good thing, or a bad thing?

They can go either way, I know you liked them, and you know I hate them, brother.
Nice blog and great topic. I personally think they have the potential to be the most important device in vaping. A lot of people that are thinking about vaping or just thought to buy it after seeing it in the store are guided by this one device. This can be the thing that makes them say this is for me or think vaping is crap and never consider it again. That’s the problem with them. They are generally crap and don’t represent vaping at all but the masses that try them will think that’s what a vaping experience is. I believe we loose more potential vapers than we gain with those.
I started a couple years ago on blu disposables; I really kinda liked ‘em…but I didn’t know any better, either.
Now that there are some Big Players getting into the e-cig business, I’m hoping the quality of the disposables goes up.
I started with a disposables and its the best thing I ever did for my self
disposables are what got me started as is often the case and like you i found one that i just loved and while i was using that i didn’t smoke 1analog but the cost was just to high actually cost more than cigs. Now i found mine at my local smoke shop and was talking to the owner about the cost and how i wish i could keep using them he then showed me a kit with a battery 2 clearo’s and a bottle of juice i was intrigued and went home to look into this on the internet well i got a kit for xmas and then got a ego twist now i am a Noob and learning and it’s a lot to take in there are days i miss that disposable it was so easy !!!! but to answer the question i find they do bring more people into the REAL WORLD OF VAPING. it’s how i found ecig advanced, hopefully the disposables will get better and more people will be like myself and go online and find a whole new world when it comes to e-cigs.
Not for me but they work for some people.
So long as they keep luring people into our Lair of Vaping Awesomeness, I’m all for ‘em!
I dont like them. For smokers who are wanting to quit this will not be good way to show them ECigs, granted they get the word out but that is all they are good for.
My first ecig was a disposable, my second also, my third was a real one and after i find a black hole in my wallet
Disposables can go either way. For those captivated, it will lead to further research and eventually finding something that works. For those put off by it totally, it will only drive them further away.
i think that disposables are good to start, but most of us need and want more, i keep them as myback ups back up lol
It’s cool to see you found the one you liked. I didn’t have the cash to keep dishing out 6-$10 for every disposable.
I agree that they are a stepping stone. I wish I could have skipped it though.
stepping stone then cig alikes then mods then rba
