Canadians Call for an End to the Ban on Electronic Cigarettes
Canadians trying to quit smoking want their government to end the ban on electronic cigarettes. These devices are freely available in the United States and in other parts of the world and are proving to be the smoker’s best way of quitting the habit (read the entire story here).
Since these products are not available in Canada, people living there have to bring them across the border on their own or even order them online. However, people think that this policy is very unreasonable, especially since many of them use electronic cigarettes as an alternative to smoking. The Canadian citizens as well as the officials realize that e-cigarettes are safe. So a valid reason for the ban on these products could be that the tobacco companies are involved in having these bans heavily enforced in Canada.
Health Canada has maintained a very firm stance against electronic cigarettes. However, the anti-smoking advocates say that the government’s position is misguided and will hamper the efforts of people who are trying to quit smoking. As a matter of fact, many Canadians who are already using electronic cigarettes are very upset by this position adopted by their government, especially since smoking is responsible for the deaths of more than 40,000 Canadians annually.

I think we need to stand against the ban in Canada. If they have a ban it only has a negative impact on vaping as a whole and gives people the perception that ecigs are bad when they really aren’t.
The more I think about this, the madder I get, and I’m not even Canadian!

If you want to know, in canada, the disposable ecig (without nicotine) can be sell here, also, all gear can be legally buy here. But you canoot buy nicotine e-juice legally, here in quebec area, they have some people who doing e-juice for resell, artisanal production. Also, health canada dont be too heavy with little sellers in flea markets or with little store. The secret are to stay small and low profile too stay in business.

If we allow any government to ban e-cigarettes, we’re toast. And I don’t just me “we” as vapers….
