Packaging and Presentation 4/5

The Cigarti Mini Kit is a two piece e-cig consisting of a battery and cartomizer and presented rather nicely in a simple faux leather case. Unlike the cardboard boxes that most e-cigs are normally packaged in, this one has a more simple, convenient and classier look to it. It is a black zip up wallet with slots inside to hold the components: battery, cart, usb charger, user manual and Cigarti membership card. It has the logo embedded on one side and on the other a clip that you can place on the visor of your car. Granted I wouldn’t leave any electronic device in a car where it’s susceptible to extreme temperatures but I give it an A for effort and you can always find someplace else to clip it. Bottom line it looks good, it’s easily portable, keeps everything well contained and it’s not just a cardboard box. The only thing I don’t like about it is that there is only one slot for a spare cartomizers. If that doesn’t bother you you can tote around the cartomizers separately. They come in foil packages five like a pack of gum or medicine. Just pop one out and remove the plastic caps whenever ready.

Battery/Responsiveness 2.5/5

On a full charge the battery keeps rather well, about half a day or more. It has a good draw with a great amount of vapor production. It charges rather quickly however it tends to be a bit flaky. The charger is red once plugged in then turns green to indicate charge is complete. The charger has an annoying habit of giving you the green light before it is finished which leads to bit of frustration. I’d recommend leaving it plugged for a substantial amount of time, like right when you go to bed so it will be ready in the morning. It unfortunately only comes with one battery so I would purchase a spare you can have one on hand when one is on the charger.

Vapor / Flavor 3/5

The Cigarti comes with a variety of flavors such as chocolate, strawberry, mint and their original. I’m not a fan of the original. It has that weird coffee creamer taste that I can’t really place. I prefer the strawberry and the chocolate although I couldn’t really tell the chocolate was chocolate. Mint is very similar to menthol as in it provides that cooling sensation. The throat hit isn’t going to be extremely sharp but I think the kick is satisfying.

Overall (not an average) 3/5

It’s got a nice stylish case that’s easily portable and not conspicuous. I’d prefer more spots in the case for carts but it you could probably just throw them in there since it zips up securely. The battery is a little sketchy as in it deceives you when the charge is finished but it at leasts keeps for a while. Flavors here are tasty and throat hit is satisfying.
