Want Big Vapor? Here’s A Few Tips
Have you been on the search for big vapor? – Don’t worry, you’re not the first. One of the benefits to vaping is that you can easily define the amount of vapor you want to produce, and chances are you’ve landed on this article because you’re looking for those monsterous clouds you’ve seen on YouTube or from other vapers, right?
Well, here’s a few tips to achieve that big vapor:
1. High VG Percentage
Often vapers will purchase or create their own e-liquid with a high vegetable glycerin (VG) percentage to help increase vapor production. Since vegetable glycerin has the ability to capture moisture from the air, VG is ideal for creating large plumes of vapor. Though VG is an easy and great way to receive larger vapor, it unfortunately isn’t the best ingredient for receiving strong flavor. That being said, using a high VG percentage will come with its drawbacks, and it’s ultimately up to you which you prefer more when debating this specific tip. Is it big vapor or big flavor?
2. Low Ohm Coils
Using a lower ohm coil, different from your standard manufactured coil, will gear benefit you towards creating a large vapor production. Since the lower ohm’s induce less resistance, the coil will become hotter, quicker. This means you’ll be able to vaporize e-liquid quicker than normal, which gives you more vapor that you’re seeking. With that said, there is a drawback obviously… of course the more you vaporize, the quicker your e-liquid level disappears. If you’re on a tight with e-liquid, lower ohm’s may not be the path for you.
3. Low Nicotine Strengths
We all know that nicotine strength is an additive to throat-hit. With that said, if you want to do direct pulls – where you pull and directly inhale from your device directly to your lungs, having a low nicotine strength is ideal. Commonly, vapers will perform mouth pulls, which allows them to fill only their mouth with vapor, limiting the amount of vapor they’ll be able to blow out. If your nicotine strength is too high, the throat hit can be too harsh to perform direct pulls. Lowering the nicotine strength to 6MG – 12MG will be less of a throat-hit, allowing you to directly pull in as much vapor as your lungs can hold. Since this isn’t a normal way to inhale vapor, I ask that you’re careful as this way of ‘pulling’ has been known to make people gag and cough profusely if you’re not familiar with this type of inhaling.
