The FDA’s public hearing on December 17th was an opportunity for individuals to provide input in regards to the future of tobacco and nicotine alternatives regulation. The event was both insightful and considered a bit of a success for e-cig advocates.
In addition to in-person comments accepted at the public hearing, the FDA has been accepting written comments and will continue to until this coming Wednesday (Jan. 16th). If you have input you would like taken into account, make sure you get it in by that day.
Dr. Riccardo Polosa from the University of Catania even submitted comments from the other side of the world. Don’t think you need to be a well-regarded scientist, e-cig business owner, or wordsmith to get involved. Everyone’s voice counts here!
Share your personal story, mirror arguments made by organizations like CASAA or SFATA, or just provide your viewpoint on the issue. The more input the FDA receives telling them to think before they act, the better.
