As the e-cigarette industry continues to live up to every exponential projection, 2014 will see even more national vaping events and especially trade shows designed to build business-to-business relationships.

Here’s a list of the major events we’re keeping an eye on in 2014. If we missed one you’re looking forward to, be sure to drop us a line so that we can include it here.

January

TPE_2014_logo_Final_wDates_webTobacco Plus Convenience Expo | January 29-30, Las Vegas, NV

Short notice: The Tobacco Plus Convenience Expo kicks off next week and is likely the biggest event yet to merge both tobacco and e-cigarette industry members into one event, with a focus on retail sales and distribution. The event will host over 300 exhibiting companies, a large number of which are e-cigarette retailers, manufacturers or organizations. Anyone with a serious stake in the e-cigarette industry would be well-advised to attend, as this event should probably provide a strong insight on where the e-cigarette industry is headed.

February

vcctVaping Convention Circuit: Tampa | February 21-22, Tampa, FL

This is the first event in a future national circuit of events. Hosted at the waterfront Tampa Convention Center and with a list of over 50 sponsors already, the VCCT looks to be a great addition to Florida’s ever-growing vaping community and industry. The event schedule includes classes on rebuilding and battery safety, live music and appearances by Dimitris of VapeTeam Live, Phil Busardo of Taste Your Juice, Mike Morgan (Zen) and a special speaker presentation from Elaine Keller, President of CASAA. Check out this sweet video for a quick recap.

March

BIG-VapeBlast-Logo-Background-for-Website-3 Vape Blast | March 14-16, Lewisville, TX

In mid-march Lewisville, TX (north of Dallas) will host Texas’ first major vaping event. The event looks to have already gathered a nice list of sponsors, some representing the Texas native e-cigarette industry. Event includes raffles, speakers and multiple advocacy groups, ensuring a good mix of business, community and grassroots involvement. It’s surprising that it’s taken this long for a major event to be held in a state as big as Texas, but we’re glad it’s finally here. The event also has an active Facebook group for those seeking more information.

VFT-FooterLogoDC VapeFest | March 21-22, Washington, DC

The Vapefest tradition continues in a new city this year, with a slick new website (linked above). Organized by the National Vaper’s Club, the event already boasts an impressive list of sponsors and will likely be the East Coast event of the year. Event schedule includes workshops on subjects from rebuildable atomizers to e-cigarette legislation and advocacy, as well as raffles to fund new e-cigarette research.

April

1526401_642873649102740_1584693279_nWorld Vapor Expo | April 4-5 Miami Beach, FL

We can’t discern too much about this event, other than it’s in Miami Beach, which sounds pretty great for a starter. The event’s website seems like it is awaiting some type of information to be posted, so we’ll keep you posted if we find out more about this event.

vbVapeBash 3 | April 11-12, Chicago, IL

Vape bans be damned, the VapeBash party continues this year (outside the ban area) and could possibly be the largest vaping event nationwide in terms of attendance. Last year’s VapeBash 2 boasted over 1,600 vapers in attendance and now, with a strong list of sponsors and a larger venue, is bound to be an all-out vaping extravaganza. We had a blast at this event last year and put together some cool videos at the event (‘In 90 Seconds‘, ‘Why We Vape‘) that might help give you an idea of what it’s like, if you’ve never been. If you’re looking for a fun, party atmosphere with a plethora of vape goodness, this is an excellent choice.

May

VaporWorld_header_1Vapor World Expo | May 7-8, Chicago IL

Not to be confused with the aforementioned ‘World Vapor Expo’, Vapor World Expo is organized by TMG International, the same group that is hosting the Tobacco Plus Convenience Expo in Vegas later this month. The event boasts an expected “200 suppliers of vapor products and accessories, bringing together a mix of Manufacturers, Distributors, Wholesalers and Retailers” and will likely be an industry-focused event, designed to further strong business ties and industry groups within the e-cigarette marketplace. TMG President O’Connor writes “Vapor World Expo is the first of its kind trade show that will bring the world of vapor together for two days to meet, do business and learn what to expect as the vapor phenomenon continues to expand across the globe”. Expect this to be a true coming-out party for the e-cigarette industry, inclusive of the biggest interests from every segment of the market and every aspect of vaping.

TBA Events

vaporconwestVaperCon West is a planned companion event to the annual Richmond, VA Vapercon.

Organized by GrimmGreen, plans are for “early 2014 in Reno, NV“. An event put together by GrimmGreen, in the great state of Nevada sounds like something just different enough to get us excited about it happening, here’s hoping it does. Event date & venue TBA.

1361050469California vapeXpo is a planned follow up event to the successful vapeXpo in Michigan last year. Unfortunately, due to pending California e-cigarette litigation, California vapeXpo has been put on hold until further notice.

Whatever happens, we’re hoping that this event can still be put together later this year. Based on the success of Michigan vapeXpo, it’s sure to be a great one. Event date, location and venue TBA.

vc3bVaperCon: East is the mainstay of the vaping community, held every year in Richmond, VA in the fall. We haven’t been able to dig up any information on when VaperCon (5?) could be coming, but we’re hoping that this event that traces the e-cigarette community years back will continue for many more to come. Event date, location and venue TBA.

ecc_logo-V2w ECC Expo was a huge vaping convention held last September in Anaheim, CA.

While we haven’t heard anything yet as to whether there will be an ‘ECC 2’, we’re hoping that the organizers of this fantastic event can find it in their big hearts to do it again.

BOYCOTT AMERICAN WOMEN! http://www.BoycottBitches.com I am an American man, and I have decided to boycott American women. In a nutshell, American women are the most likely to cheat on you, to divorce you, to get fat, to steal half of your money in the divorce courts, don’t know how to cook or clean, don’t want to have children, etc. Therefore, what intelligent man would want to get involved with American women? American women are generally immature, selfish, extremely arrogant and self-centered, mentally unstable, irresponsible, and highly unchaste. The behavior of most American women is utterly disgusting, to say the least. This blog is my attempt to explain why I feel American women are inferior to foreign women (non-American women), and why American men should boycott American women, and date/marry only foreign (non-American) women.

All of a sudden, a ring of lights appeared overhead. It was so bright I could only see the outline of a bunch of lights in the shape of a ring. It was emitting this strange, otherworldly mechanical sound, like it was hovering. Immediately I knew what was happening. I was about to get abducted and have a bunch of aliens sticking probes up my ass. A small hatch opened near the center of the ring and a light started beaming down towards me. I unholestered my machine gun and started spraying bullets at the UFO, screaming “YOU WILL NEVER TAKE ME!!!” To read more, go to http://www.AutisticWritings.com
