Depending on how well the cig is assembled the draw and vapor production is very easy, however if the cartridge isn’t inserted correctly it might pose a little difficulty. You have to make sure the tip is securely connected with the polyfill touching the atomizer other wise you’ll meet a little frustration on your first draw. The battery has a substantial amount of power to last some heavy drags and it charges fairly quick. Personally I’d like it to last a little longer but it does what it needs to do.

The Nicstick comes in a variety of flavors such as tobacco, coffee, menthol and my favorite “Horsepower” which tastes like an energy drink. The coffee and Horsepower are, in my opinion, the most delicious that the Nicstick has to offer. Their tobacco flavors have very pleasant taste as well. The Turkish blend and regular tobacco flavors are smooth and mellow and are delightfully realistic. They have another tobacco option called the “USA” blend. This one unfortunately leaves much to be desired. The taste is rather harsh like that of a tire fire. The throat hit for that particular flavor doesn’t compensate much. I find it to be a little weak. A good throat hit could help overlook the taste but unfortunately that one didn’t deliver.

The Aqua Vapor DSE901 is a medium sized sleek little number sporting black on black stripes and standout white lettering. The logo on the front is somewhat modern and tribal at the same time. While the box is not large – like a cigar box – it is also not pocket sized. It would fit into a large handbag or backpack, but nothing smaller. Its also one of those “trick” boxes – it looks like a cover that the box slides out of, but is really a magnetic closure type of box.

The battery for the Aqua Vapor ECig is about the same size as a regular cigarette with a life of around 3 hours. It looks unusual in that it has a button on the side that engages the battery. Don’t push the button – don’t get the vapor. This was a little uncomfortable at first and took some getting used to since you couldn’t hold the ecig as you normally would and smoke. The ecig was also very reminiscent of the Roaring 20’s as it utilizes a tapered mouthpiece. It reminded me of an old black and white movie where Greta Garbo was smoking the foot long cigarette in the black mouthpiece. The packaging included a USB charger as well as a wall charger for easy accessibility in recharging the battery. It takes about an 2 ½ hours to completely recharge the battery using either method.

Once you remember to push the button, the vapor was outstanding. The longer you push it, the more vapor. I was very impressed with not only the amount of vapor, but also the flavor. The flavor was comparable with a regular medium flavored cigarette. Since the cartomizers were extremely small (enclosed in the mouthpiece) and the ecig itself was 3 pieces, I expected to lose flavor and vapor and was pleasantly surprised when this didn’t happen. The cartomizers, though small, packed a good punch and lasted longer than some of the other ecigs I have sampled.

The AquaVapor Ecig is something I think I would like to own. Although the box won’t fit in a pocket, the charger will. The solid black, 3 piece ecig looked sophisticated and smoked like a dream. This one is definitely worth the cost.
The Volt ECig packaging is vibrant and compact. The package entices you to try the product by using bright colors on a black background that screams energy. It’s simple but still has a good appeal and you expect a great e-cig just by looking at the package.

The battery for the Volt comes in a short or a long version, I tried the short ones and they still had a good life of around 3 ½ hours. The great thing here is the pocket sized case that contains the charger. It is a slide-open, cell phone looking case that you can charge ahead of time and take anywhere. It’s a lot more slim and portable than other charging cases. It takes about an hour to recharge your battery in the portable case and about 2 hours to completely recharge the case.

After seeing the package you expect to be knocked down by the taste, you expect a hard-hitting, Marlboro Man flavor. I found the Volt cartomizers to be lacking in the strength of the flavor. Some may like this more smooth or mild flavor though. In the same way, there’s not a whole lot of throat hit here either, which is more of a matter of preference. On the other hand, the vapor was magnificent. When exhaling you had as much or more vapor than you would expect with a regular cigarette. If you like a milder flavor and a milder throat hit, the vapor production is definitely here and enough to keep any smoker satisfied over their cigarettes.

The Volt Ecig carries through on the promise of its packaging through battery life and vapor, but comes up a little short on flavor. I love the charging case, it’s portable and unique. With some improvements to the strength of their flavor, the Volt could be an awesome e-cig.
The Vapor King comes in a square, black and blue box, that incorporates a great use of branding on the outside lid. To open the box, you just simply take the lid off of the top, to reveal the inside contents. The inside is packaged in two layers. The top layer has the batteries lain out on a foam backdrop, which you can lift up to reveal the bottom layer of the packaging. The bottom layer contains the USB and wall chargers, as well as five Tank Cartridges in which you put the liquid in to smoke. Another plus of the packaging is the carrying pouch that is provided to place your Storm Vapor King in for travel. It can be placed in your bag, or pocket, which makes for a very accessible smoke. I have given the product an 4 out of 5 on its packaging.

The battery offered is a very short and easy to hold eGo-T, a manual battery that’s a little bit larger than the bigger cigarette sized e-cigs. It is rated at 650mAH and it stays charged for significantly long periods of time. The battery lasted me at least a day at a time before it required a recharge. The combination of battery life and use of tanks make this very convenient for busy people who don’t have time to stop and recharge/refill throughout the day.. Normal puffs produced large amounts of vapor with that “throaty” hit that you get from smoking real cigarettes. Usually, I’m not a big fan of manual batteries. However, manual batteries do have their pros, as they can reduce unnecessary firing and save battery and e-juice. The battery also had a lock feature which kept the device from going off in my pocket.

I was very impressed with the amount of vapor that was produced from the Storm. It definitely stood up to its name of being the “Vapor King”. Unfortunately, I only tried one flavor with this kit. I didn’t particularly enjoy the tobacco flavor that I tested, however. The flavor produced could be compared to that of a fog machine at times. It wasn’t so horrible that I couldn’t smoke it, but it wasn’t realistic and satisfying either. I would give the vapor a really good grade, but the flavor brings it down a bit. Then again, a lot of companies can do a good job on anything but a tobacco flavor. Maybe if I would’ve had a chance to try some of the other e-liquids offered, I would’ve had a different or more positive reaction to the flavor.

Overall, I was satisfied with my first-time-experience with an e-liquid based electronic cigarette. The Storm Vapor King was packaged and presented professionally, the battery lasted long and the vapor produced was more than satisfying. There could be a little work on the flavor, but other than that, this was a good product.
At first glance the Fifty One Blue Label hints at a lot of promise. It’s got a nice little flip top cardboard box decorated in blue with golden filigree around the border giving it that classy yet not too ostentatious look of an expensive cigar box. The pieces are nestled lovingly inside: two batteries, charger and a row of cartomizers. The starter kits come in two variations the “duo” and the “trio”. The “trio” is the kit that contains the 3-piece ecig whereas the “duo” of course is the two piece which is the battery and the cartomizer. Now if just opening this box, as refined as it’s appearance suggests, isn’t enough to get you excited about this ecig, then the exclusive membership card certainly will. The battery life of the Fifty One Blue Label has some serious staying power. Granted I didn’t go on an excessive vaping binge like I normally do. I used it on and off and the battery seemed to hold up pretty well after two or three days. It comes with two so after using up the power of one you’ll have an extra one on hand. Overall the battery life is quite excellent. The draw seems ok although I’d prefer there be more ease. A little tightness is good though because it helps simulate the draw of a real cigarette, but this one however doesn’t pack enough punch. It feels as though I have to prime it by taking a couple of drags to get the vapor to produce.

As enticing as the packaging for the Fifty One seems, the flavor and performance unfortunately does not measure up to my standards. I find the throat hit for this ecig to be extremely weak with no throat hit. As I gazed down to examine the cartomizer box I discovered, much to my chagrin, that the cartomizer strength was 16 mg. At that level I would expect much, much more. The taste at least was somewhat delightful as it has a sweet undertone that is kind of like you’re vaping a pack of Juicy Fruit. The menthol flavor brings a little more satisfaction. It too has a sweet undertone and the sensation of the menthol helps in getting a mildly satisfying throat burn.

The Fifty One looks like it would be a great ecig with it’s “high end” packaging design but in my opinion the look was very deceptive. On the inside the only thing it really has going for it is the excellent battery life. Other than that the throat hit, is weak and it kind of leaves clammy aftertaste in the mouth. Very disheartening in my opinion and for the price of a whopping $179.95, I feel it’s far too expensive to be that unsatisfying. For me the Fifty One definitely falls short.
The Eversmoke packaging is very intriguing. The box itself is quite simple, not very detailed or informative, but leaves you with this uncanny need to see whats inside. The package entices you to try the product by using a smoke effect and the name only printed on the top. It’s simple but enough to compel you to open it up and give it a shot. Inside you’ll find two lithium batteries, the charger, a Eversmoke members card as well as the instructions. The only downfall for some would be the lack of information on the box itself, as some people like to have a little more detail instead of leaving everything to guess.

The battery for the Eversmoke is indeed long lasting. I’ve used the same battery for up to 3 full days before having to charge it again. I found the Eversmoke flavor cartridges to be very satisfying and urge quenching. Being an avid smoker for so many years, I have never found anything to help curve my urges before until I tried the Eversmoke. Its not strong enough to throw you into coughing fits, but not light enough to make you keep taking draws in order to satisfy your craving. Its the perfect balance really. When exhaling you have everything you would expect from a real cigarette. I have yet to try any of the different flavors, but then again Ive never smoked anything but full flavor cigarettes.

The Smoke Tip ECig packaging is a little larger than a cigar box. It is very bland to the eye, and will definitely not fit in a purse or pocket. I kind of like the magnetic closure, but it will pop open if dropped. Being so large, the package will hold your batteries, chargers and all the other little extras so that you have a one-stop shop, but it is not portable.

The battery for the Smoke Tip ECig is a little larger than a regular cigarette, but this allows for a usage time of around 4 hours before you have to recharge. The battery was very responsive, but recharging required attaching to a USB connection on my computer or finding an open plug-in on my surge protector. It took around 1 ½ hours to completely recharge the battery which I thought was reasonable considering the 4 hours of smoke time obtained after charging.

The Smoke Tip Ecig came with a multitude of individual flavors. Each flavor was distinctive and easily recognizable with the exception of the Almond. The flavors reminded me of tastes of my childhood. The vapor was minimal even after a couple of minutes getting it going. I had to pay strict attention to see if I had any vapor when exhaling. I guess the flavor could make up for the lack of vapor for some.

I was a little disappointed in the Smoke Tip Ecig. The box was unwieldy to carry around on a daily basis, and took up more room than a pair of shoes in my suitcase when traveling. The flavors were ok if you smoke flavored cigarettes, but a traditionalist, like myself, was looking for a more consistent tobacco flavoring. Vapor was minimal, so all-in-all I felt like I was sucking air through a pixie stick.
The Apollo ECig packaging is a very classic little black box. It reminded me of watching old movies of the Roaring 20’s with all the elite having their little cigarette cases. The box is about the size of a normal pack of cigarettes and is very lightweight and easy to handle. The closure on the box is very secure and does not open at will when in a purse or pocket.

The battery for the Apollo ECig is sleek and slim – compared to my actual cigarette it is an exact match in size. I expected the battery to be heavier than it was, but found that, when necessary, I could hold it between my lips without thinking I was going to drop it. Although the responsiveness was adequate for my taste, I must say that I was somewhat disappointed in the battery life. After 2 ½ hours, it was time for a recharge. The recharging process was extremely easy as the box contains a recharger and extra battery. When the recharger in the box runs low, you just plug into any USB outlet and are ready in no time.

I was thoroughly impressed with the flavor and vapor produced by the Apollo ECig after the first couple of minutes. When first drawing on the ECig, I noticed that my lips were damp and sticky. I rubbed my finger across the end of the cartomizer and noticed a slight moisture. Once the “newness” wore off, the flavor reminded me of the taste of an actual “light” cigarette (not full flavor). When exhaling I thought I was smoking an actual cigarette as there was plenty of “smoke” being expelled.

I am exceptionally pleased with the Apollo ECig as a substitute for my continual pack. The only disappointment was that once you look at the package you expect a slim sophisticated cigarette – go back to the old movies and check out the cigarette holders and really long cigarettes. Maybe I expected a black battery and cartomizer to complete the classic look of the box.
The Luci comes in a sleek, black case with a magnetic locking mechanism. The graphics are well done, and the 11-page instruction manual includes a quick start segment. The velveteen compartments inside the case are well-designed, and the entire package is compact and toteable. The Luci cigarettes themselves are black as well, with gold branding, with a blue LED flame at the tips. The length and circumference is relative to that of a normal cigarette. After a two hour charge, the automatic Luci battery still seemed to require 2 or 3 priming draws in order to get fired up. Even then, it’s still difficult to get a good drag at times. In what appears to be a design flaw, the atomizer tends to fall down into the battery, which makes switching out cartridges a bit of a task. The Luci kit includes a standard wall charger (no USB), as well as a car charger.

Even after a few priming puffs on the Luci, the product isn’t much different than air, when inhaled casually. Upon taking a bigger hit, the vapor turns almost liquid, which leaves an aftertaste that resembles dusty caramel. It reminds me of a sort of Turkish Gold Ultra-Ultra light. The Luci’s vapor didn’t feel like that of a real cigarette’s, i.e. it’s difficult to get a good hit with it. Though, the slow-responding battery produces little vapor, which can be a plus in certain situations.

The Luci electronic cigarette is big on design, but is lacking in flavor and funtion. The battery is hesistant, there appears to be a design flaw with the atomizer and the cartridges are cheaply made, and feel flimsy. Regardless, the actual cigarette itself is thinner than other e-cigs, more like a normal cigarette, and the blue flame at the tip is modern-looking. Still, the Luci just doesn’t smoke very well.

On a full charge the battery keeps rather well, about half a day or more. It has a good draw with a great amount of vapor production. It charges rather quickly however it tends to be a bit flaky. The charger is red once plugged in then turns green to indicate charge is complete. The charger has an annoying habit of giving you the green light before it is finished which leads to bit of frustration. I’d recommend leaving it plugged for a substantial amount of time, like right when you go to bed so it will be ready in the morning. It unfortunately only comes with one battery so I would purchase a spare you can have one on hand when one is on the charger.

The Cigarti comes with a variety of flavors such as chocolate, strawberry, mint and their original. I’m not a fan of the original. It has that weird coffee creamer taste that I can’t really place. I prefer the strawberry and the chocolate although I couldn’t really tell the chocolate was chocolate. Mint is very similar to menthol as in it provides that cooling sensation. The throat hit isn’t going to be extremely sharp but I think the kick is satisfying.

The Vapor King battery is a slim little devil, and comes in both manual and automatic varieties which both work extremely well. I’m often worried when both kinds are offered, because in some cases that points to the auto battery not being as functional. Hence, the manual one to make up for it. However, that’s not the case here. They’re extremely responsive, more so than I’ve seen for the smaller style of many existint brands.

V4L’s Vapor King puts out a huge amount of vapor, and it all tastes great. I say “all” because the options that V4L gives you here are seemingly limitless. I don’t have the space or breath to get into all the varities, but there are sampler kits of things like fruit bowl, candy shop, coffee shop, menthol lovers, and cocktail hour just to name a few. Each of those has 5 different flavors within. I’ve never been a huge fan of flavor, but that’s because until I used this kit nobody had done it right yet. The taste and amount of vapor is amazing.
Overall (Not An Average) 4/5
V4L has a real winner on their hands here. The quality of the product is certainly worth the price, and I mention that because it’s a little higher than some comparable brands. However, if you’re the type of person who has more luck with a product that doesn’t look or taste like a cigarette then this is for you. With flavors like peach cobbler, chocolate banana, espresso, and even beer (which actually tastes like beer…it’s INSANE) then I have no doubt you’ll be happy with a Vapor King.
