Presentation/Packaging 3/5
At first glance the Fifty One Blue Label hints at a lot of promise. It’s got a nice little flip top cardboard box decorated in blue with golden filigree around the border giving it that classy yet not too ostentatious look of an expensive cigar box. The pieces are nestled lovingly inside: two batteries, charger and a row of cartomizers. The starter kits come in two variations the “duo” and the “trio”. The “trio” is the kit that contains the 3-piece ecig whereas the “duo” of course is the two piece which is the battery and the cartomizer. Now if just opening this box, as refined as it’s appearance suggests, isn’t enough to get you excited about this ecig, then the exclusive membership card certainly will. Each Blue Label starter kit comes with the 51 Membership card which gets you discounts on future purchases. Quite a lot to be impressed about from the outside but does what’s inside deliver as well?
Battery/Responsiveness 3/5
The battery life of the Fifty One Blue Label has some serious staying power. Granted I didn’t go on an excessive vaping binge like I normally do. I used it on and off and the battery seemed to hold up pretty well after two or three days. It comes with two so after using up the power of one you’ll have an extra one on hand. Overall the battery life is quite excellent. The draw seems ok although I’d prefer there be more ease. A little tightness is good though because it helps simulate the draw of a real cigarette, but this one however doesn’t pack enough punch. It feels as though I have to prime it by taking a couple of drags to get the vapor to produce.
Vapor/Flavor(s) 2.5/5
As enticing as the packaging for the Fifty One seems, the flavor and performance unfortunately does not measure up to my standards. I find the throat hit for this ecig to be extremely weak with no throat hit. As I gazed down to examine the cartomizer box I discovered, much to my chagrin, that the cartomizer strength was 16 mg. At that level I would expect much, much more. The taste at least was somewhat delightful as it has a sweet undertone that is kind of like you’re vaping a pack of Juicy Fruit. The menthol flavor brings a little more satisfaction. It too has a sweet undertone and the sensation of the menthol helps in getting a mildly satisfying throat burn.
Overall (Not An Average) 2.5/5
The Fifty One looks like it would be a great ecig with it’s “high end” packaging design but in my opinion the look was very deceptive. On the inside the only thing it really has going for it is the excellent battery life. Other than that the throat hit, is weak and it kind of leaves clammy aftertaste in the mouth. Very disheartening in my opinion and for the price of a whopping $179.95, I feel it’s far too expensive to be that unsatisfying. For me the Fifty One definitely falls short.
Blu Cigs Original Starter Kit Review

Presentation/Packaging 4/5
Blu’s packaging and presentation hasn’t changed a bit, which is a good move on their part. If it’s not broken, don’t fix it. Classy package that calls out to their certifications and lists what’s inside the box as well. They’ve also maintained the helpful “start here” sheet that’s great for new ecig users.
Battery/Responsiveness 3/5
The battery in Blu’s kit seems to be the same as well. It’s overly sensetive, and goes off too easily. Shake it, or even blow across the top of the indicator light and it kicks on. The good thing is that Blu has changed to a 2 piece design and gotten rid of the seperate atomizer and cartridge. This helps with the responsiveness of the cartomizer itself, and warrants an improved score.
Vapor/Flavor(s) 4/5
The vapor itself has improved dramatically with the switch to 2 pieces rather than 3. It’s responsive, and gives a good amount of vapor with a smoothe drag. However, the flavor still lacks compared to other brands. Compared to their old kit though, it is improved since there is no longer a problem with holdover of flavors if you’re using multiple different carts.
Overall (Not An Average) 3.5/5
Blu has joined a higher level of ecigs as far as performance goes, but flavor lacks a lot. The price point is the same, which is a little higher than some other comparable kits, but at least it’s a better product than previous versions. The charge pack is a nice inclusion, but it was there before so it’s not an improvement. Blu has just a little more work to do, but I’m definitely impressed with their changes.
Halo Element Reviews

| Arrival | 3-7 Days |
| Flavor | 14 |

Packaging/Presentation 4/5
Just like the G6 kit, the Element comes in a sleek round metal case that is far from the norm that most people are used to seeing. Sure there are more usable cases out there as far as carrying it with you go, but as far as the presentation of the original package goes, they’re taking a step forward. It’s nice to see that someone is pushing the envelope, and if nothing else they’re setting themselves apart visually. The lack of a USB charger is slightly disappointing, and is the only knock I have against them in this department.
Battery/Responsiveness 4/5
The starter kit I’m reviewing came with 2 batteries, one manual and one automatic. They both seemed to work equally well, though I’m becoming fonder of the manual batteries with drip kits such as this. It’s all about saving that sweet, sweet juice. Both varieties have extremely smooth draws, and last about as long as you’d expect a 510 battery to; though just like the G6 was previously, it was quite enjoyable and everyone knows that time flies when you’re having fun.
Vapor/Flavors 4/5
What to say here? Halo’s liquid is top notch as far as its pricing, production, and life time. My only gripe is that I wasn’t a huge fan of the flavor itself. Not that it was bad by any means, I’ve just had better. I had a little trouble identifying what some of the flavors were supposed to be, such as “freedom juice’ for example. It all just tasted a little too light, and possibly too smooth for my liking. I’m a throat hit junkie, and it just didn’t do that for me.
Overall (Not An Overall Average) 4/5
I was really surprised to find that the Element kit from Halo was so modestly priced compared to the quality of the product, and value within. It’s one of the best performing drip style kits I’ve used, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone. It looks a lot classier than a lot of comparably priced products, and the vapor production is actually bordering on ridiculous.
Bull Smoke Reviews

Presentation/Packaging 4/5
The Bull Smoke comes in a white, magnetic drop box, which opens up to reveal the inside contents. It contained two batteries, a wall and USB charger, and up to ten different flavored cartomizers. The Bull Smoke did a great job of branding, as you see the bull head on the outside of the box, as well as on the batteries and chargers. The only negative thing that I can say about the packaging is that the box is really big and bulky.
Battery/Responsiveness 4/5
The battery was very efficient. I really liked the fact that the battery had the thin circles around it, making it look like an actual cigarette. The battery was also fairly light weight, which made for a more realistic smoke. If you’re looking for an E-Cig that will stay charged, the Bull Smoke is where it’s at. I found that the battery would stay charged for around 7 hours on average. This is very exceptional compared to most electronic cigarettes out there. The responsiveness was decent. You didn’t have to puff so hard that you popped a lung, but it also wasn’t as sensitive as other products that I’ve tried in the past. Generally, it took around 5 puffs to get each cartomizer going good. But once they got going, the cartomizers produced a fair amount of vapor.
Vapor/Flavor(s) 4/5
The Bull Smoke offers more flavors than any other product that I’ve ever tested. For this alone they left me with a positive first impression from the beginning. The vanilla was sweeter than most vanillas that I’ve tried before. Menthol was probably my favorite, being a menthol smoker. As always, I was a huge fan of the coffee, and the apple flavor was very light with a realistic apple taste. I didn’t like any of the tobacco flavors offered, but that’s just a personal preference. Who knows? You might try them and love them. The last two flavors that I tried were grape and chocolate, and enjoyed both. The grape tasted just as expected, and the chocolate had kind of a coffee under taste. As stated earlier, the vapor is produced in fairly large amounts by the Bull Smoke, which makes for an enjoyable “smoke”.
Overall (Not An Average) 4/5
Aside from making a few minor changes with the size of the packaging, and working on a couple of the flavors, there’s not really much to change about the Bull Smoke. I was overall impressed with the product, and would recommend it to anyone out there looking for a new, quality e-cig.
Bloog Electronic Cigarette Reviews

| price | $59.99 |
Presentation/Packaging 2.5/5
The Bloog Maxx Fusion has a very modest look to it. It’s a basic black cardboard box with a flip top magnetic closure. The face of the package depicts a picture of a jovial group of friends hanging out and having a vape. Not the most creative of approaches but what’s inside is really what counts right? Kits come with a battery, charger, cartomizers and a nice little velvet battery pouch to keep it safe from scuffs and scratches. The battery has a nice feel and grip to it almost like it has a rubber coating. This particular one is white with a red lit tip. Cartomizers come in various flavors neatly sealed in foil packs of five that you just pop out like a piece of chewing gum. Once extracted there are two plastic caps to remove from each end. The minor annoyance I have with this is that there is a third plastic tip that you need to be careful not to remove with the outer cap. This piece serves as both a seal as well as easy access to the poly fill inside, which I’m assuming is for dripping. That part stays put so take heed that it doesn’t get stuck in the outer cap. The carts all come in black, which isn’t a problem with me but some might be annoyed because you can’t recognize the flavor right off the bat. If you don’t mind having to read the label for flavor it has a nice look with the black and white. Aside from the corny photo I find it to be simple, basic and sleek.
Battery/Responsiveness 3/5
The Bloog has a fairly easy pull and gives plenty of power from its KR808 battery. It holds up really well, I’d say about half a day after some heavy drags, pretty long for a battery of this size. It may take a few puffs to get it going but all in all it produces an adequate amount of vapor. I’d recommend making sure it is fully charged if going out on a night on the town.
Vapor/Flavor(s) 4/5
The Bloog has a very interesting mix of flavors. I find them to be very palatable and range from sweet to savory. I tried the Grape, RY4 and Mint. If sweets are what you crave they have delightful grape flavor which feels like you’re breathing in a Welches soda. Fruits can be tricky because not everyone enjoys artificial fruit flavorings. The grape is something you can take or leave but since I enjoy grape soda I found it to be very pleasing. If a cool refreshing sensation is what you crave then the mint flavor will bode very well. It’s more mild then menthol but it still gives the same results. My favorite by far is called the RY4. I found this one to be quite delicious. It has the aroma of salted caramel and delivered a happy mix of both sweet and savory. The throat hit isn’t as sharp as I’d like it to be, especially at 16mg. The flavor sensations are more on the forefront of this ecig. Definitely more for taste than for a nicotine kick.
Overall (Not An Average) 4/5
The Bloog is pretty straight forward with it’s basic black and white style. There isn’t very much glitz and glam to it but I like the way it’s presented. I also like the way the cartomizers are packaged as well as the handy pouch. The performance is fairly modest with great battery life. It may not have much bite (throat hit) to it but I feel the flavors certainly compensate. If you want your ecig to taste like tobacco flavors and have a serious throat burn, I wouldn’t recommend it. If you’re looking for delicious flavors in other categories like fruit, sweet and other flavors, with a smooth throat hit- definitely worth a try.

No.7 Cartomizer Starter Kit Review
Presentation/Packaging 4/5
The two piece No. 7 Cartomizer Starter Kit sports the look of a classic cigarette having the white battery with a red lit tip and cartomizer. It comes with a palette of flavors encased in tubes within a handsome decorative box that range from decadent fruits to classic tobacco. Flavors are designated by color and designed to look like the real thing with the brushed print emulating a real filter. The look is rather classy like that of a cigar box and you can purchase a portable case (either separate or within a kit) similar to a real pack. I personally think it’s a little too classic and conservative of a look but overall the aesthetics are nice.
Battery/Responsiveness 4/5
The battery life of the No. 7 is excellent. After a marathon of drags this battery withstood the test of time; an hour long charge lasted from sun up to sun down. The battery was responsive as well and gave vapor right away. The drag was smooth and easy however there was a moment or two where it felt as though you were trying to suck an olive through a straw. Luckily that sensation could quickly be remedied after another toke or a new cartomizer. Vapor production was excellent and it delivered a nice throat hit.
Vapor/Flavor(s) 4/5
Flavors come in strawberry, blueberry, green apple, vanilla, chocolate, menthol and classic tobacco. As far as the fruit flavors go, they taste as any artificial fruit flavor would much like a jolly rancher. The strawberry and blueberry weren’t too subtle-they really stood out. The green apple tasted like you were inhaling a granny smith. . The vanilla and the chocolate weren’t quite the same but left little to be desired in terms of flavor. The tobacco was pretty good too. The menthol couldn’t go wrong though; cool and refreshing as it always is. Menthol to me has always been more of a sensation than a flavor any way.
Overall 4/5 (Not An Average)
Regardless of what your taste is there is bound to be a flavor to enjoy from the variety it offers. The throat hit is very satisfactory and the performance is top notch. The cartomizers seem to last a while as I’ve been dragging on one all day with a sustainable vapor and flavor. Depending on what kind of kit you get it could be fairly inexpensive; A good ecig overall.
SmokeTip Reviews

Presentation/Packaging 2/5
The Smoke Tip ECig packaging is a little larger than a cigar box. It is very bland to the eye, and will definitely not fit in a purse or pocket. I kind of like the magnetic closure, but it will pop open if dropped. Being so large, the package will hold your batteries, chargers and all the other little extras so that you have a one-stop shop, but it is not portable.
Battery/Responsiveness 4/5
The battery for the Smoke Tip ECig is a little larger than a regular cigarette, but this allows for a usage time of around 4 hours before you have to recharge. The battery was very responsive, but recharging required attaching to a USB connection on my computer or finding an open plug-in on my surge protector. It took around 1 ½ hours to completely recharge the battery which I thought was reasonable considering the 4 hours of smoke time obtained after charging.
Vapor/Flavor(s) 3/5
The Smoke Tip Ecig came with a multitude of individual flavors. Each flavor was distinctive and easily recognizable with the exception of the Almond. The flavors reminded me of tastes of my childhood. The vapor was minimal even after a couple of minutes getting it going. I had to pay strict attention to see if I had any vapor when exhaling. I guess the flavor could make up for the lack of vapor for some.
Overall (Not An Average) 3/5
I was a little disappointed in the Smoke Tip Ecig. The box was unwieldy to carry around on a daily basis, and took up more room than a pair of shoes in my suitcase when traveling. The flavors were ok if you smoke flavored cigarettes, but a traditionalist, like myself, was looking for a more consistent tobacco flavoring. Vapor was minimal, so all-in-all I felt like I was sucking air through a pixie stick.
Nicotek Metro Starter Kit Review

| Arrival | 1-3 Days |
| Flavor | 2 |
| Nicotine Levels | 2 |
| price | $19.99 |
Packaging & Presentation 2/5
The Nicotek Electronic Cigarette did not impress me very much in the area of Presentation and Packaging. Despite its metallic, “mint box”-like package with shiny labeling and raised images on the outside, the Nicotek needs lots of improvements. I thought I was going to have to call the fire department to get the Jaws of Life to come open the package for me originally. The attached lid is very hard to open on the Nicotek and definitely needs improved in future productions. On the positive side, the inside contents are packaged very simply which makes finding the cartomizers, battery, and charger very easy to locate for start-up. Do to my less-than-impressed opinion of the packaging, I give the Nicotek a 2 out of 5 rating in this particular area.
Battery/Responsiveness 4/5
Although I wasn’t impressed with the packaging, I found that the Nicotek’s battery was very reliable and efficient. The USB charger fully charged the battery in no time, and the battery was functional for on average, 4 hours. The responsiveness of the battery and cartomizer was also very good. After the first puff, the vapor began to release in average amounts, with a normal “puff” of the device. It wasn’t too sensitive like many products can be, nor did the Nicotek take extensive drawls or puffs to achieve an enjoyable amount of vapor. I am happy to give the Nicotek a satisfactory 4 out of 5 rating in the category of Battery and Responsiveness.
Vapor/Flavors 2.5/5
To be specific, I tested the Nicotek “Metro Menthol”, as a menthol smoker myself. Although the cartomizer produced a satisfactory amount of vapor, as I mentioned before, I was not a huge fan of the Menthol flavor produced by the Nicotek. Unlike other menthol products that I have tried, the Nicotek produced a lingering after taste when I smoked it. The menthol, itself, had an underlying taste comparable to peroxide. (I don’t drink peroxide on the regular; I’m just going from the taste I’ve gotten in the past from products such as teeth whitening mouthwash and toothpastes that contain peroxide). Because of the unfavorable flavor of the Menthol, I give the Nicotek Metro Menthol product a 2.5 out of 5 on flavor.
Overall 3/5 (Not An Average)
Do to the struggle involved of even opening the package I wasn’t impressed from the start with the Nicotek. Although the battery was outstanding, and the sensitivity involved with producing vapor was very satisfactory, the flavor just didn’t cut it for me. I think with a few changes, the Nicotek would be an excellent product. For now, however, I have to give the product a 3 out of 5 rating for the overall satisfaction that I personally found with-in the Nicotek.
Apollo Mini Kit Review

| Arrival | 24-72 Hours |
| Flavor | 5 |
| Nicotine Levels | 4 |
Presentation/Packaging 5/5
The Apollo ECig packaging is a very classic little black box. It reminded me of watching old movies of the Roaring 20’s with all the elite having their little cigarette cases. The box is about the size of a normal pack of cigarettes and is very lightweight and easy to handle. The closure on the box is very secure and does not open at will when in a purse or pocket.
Battery/Responsiveness 4/5
The battery for the Apollo ECig is sleek and slim – compared to my actual cigarette it is an exact match in size. I expected the battery to be heavier than it was, but found that, when necessary, I could hold it between my lips without thinking I was going to drop it. Although the responsiveness was adequate for my taste, I must say that I was somewhat disappointed in the battery life. After 2 ½ hours, it was time for a recharge. The recharging process was extremely easy as the box contains a recharger and extra battery. When the recharger in the box runs low, you just plug into any USB outlet and are ready in no time.
Vapor/Flavor(s) 3/5
I was thoroughly impressed with the flavor and vapor produced by the Apollo ECig after the first couple of minutes. When first drawing on the ECig, I noticed that my lips were damp and sticky. I rubbed my finger across the end of the cartomizer and noticed a slight moisture. Once the “newness” wore off, the flavor reminded me of the taste of an actual “light” cigarette (not full flavor). When exhaling I thought I was smoking an actual cigarette as there was plenty of “smoke” being expelled.
Overall 4/5 (Not An Average)
I am exceptionally pleased with the Apollo ECig as a substitute for my continual pack. The only disappointment was that once you look at the package you expect a slim sophisticated cigarette – go back to the old movies and check out the cigarette holders and really long cigarettes. Maybe I expected a black battery and cartomizer to complete the classic look of the box.
